Island Hopping

Experience the magic of the Greek islands and take one of our Island Hopping Pass! Greek islands unlike anywhere else in the world give you mix of beauty, atmosphere, nightlife, food, history, sun and the sea. Island hopping is visiting a selection of the islands using local ferries. We offer two main type of Island hopping options which offer different inclusions and accommodation.

• Passes 1-12: Island hopping passes with preselected islands and set amount of nights on each. With our selection of passes 1-12 your hotels are confirmed at the time of booking, hence you know exactly where you will stay and the facilities that you will be able to enjoy at your hotels. Detailed description of most hotels can be found on relevant island pages. Transfers on the island are optional extras.

• Flexible Island hopping passes based on total number of night regardless of island visited. Transfers on the islands are included.

Generally speaking most of the small Greek islands can be explored in a few days, most islands although require a minimum 3 or 4 night stay in order to see the highlights. Without rush you can enjoy several islands in just a couple of weeks. Booking an Island Hopping Pass with us provides you with peace of mind. We take care of Greece’s fickle ferry system, allowing you to hop between the Islands with a minimum of fuss. Your ferry tickets are pre-booked and delivered to your hotel room. There is no battle for accommodation, your hotel reservation is confirmed, even at the peak of the season. We let you add extra nights or amend hotels listed should you prefer to upgrade and stay somewhere else. Enjoy!

The following passes 1-12 are designed to allow the minimum amount of time possible on the islands. We do, however, recommend the purchase of extra nights to have a stay of at least 3 nights on each island, allowing you to fully enjoy the atmosphere of the islands. With FlexiPasses a minimum stay of three nights is required on each island, but there is no minimum in Athens.

Each island is different and unique in its own way. As such it is impossible to recommend one island over the other. We suggest a visit to several islands in order to enjoy the variety and different attractions which they have to offer. However, if you are on a time limit, it is highly recommended to visit fewer of them and explore those that you choose in detail.

With our selection of passes 1-12 your hotels are confirmed at the time of booking, hence you know exactly where you will stay and the facilities that you will be able to enjoy at your hotels. Most of our clients prefer centrally located hotels. The hotels are listed on this page and extra night rates can be found on page 64 & 65. Most passes include the use of a standard ferry which can sometimes take a long time due to the distances between the islands (See map page 4). Please note that should you wish to reduce travelling time, we allow an upgrade to a hydrofoil or a flight at an extra cost.

In order to satisfy the budget conscious, we have not included transfers on the Islands. However we strongly recommend adding them in your package as it is sometimes extremely difficult and at times impossible to find public transport or taxis, especially during peak season. Street names are not used on many of the islands and it can prove to be a challenge to locate some hotels.

Accommodation in Athens is not included in Pass 1-12, however we offer a large selection of hotels (see pages 11-16). As ferries to the islands usually leave early morning, arriving one day prior is essential. Additionally, most ferries arrive back to Athens in the evening, hence we also recommend arranging post accommodation as well. For those who wish to connect with flights out of Athens on the same day as their departure from the island, we suggest upgrading to a flight that co-ordinates with your international departure.
